What types of flooring materials do you offer, and which one is best suited for my specific needs?

We offer a wide range of flooring materials including hardwood, luxury vinyl tiles, laminate, vinyl, and carpet. The best choice depends on your preferences, budget, and the room’s specific requirements. Hardwood offers timeless elegance, laminate is durable and cost-effective, LVT is hard wearing and offers a range or designs and styles, vinyl is water-resistant and low-maintenance, while carpet provides comfort and insulation.

Do you provide free estimates for flooring installation or repair services?

Yes, we offer free estimates for all our flooring services. Our experts will assess your space, discuss your requirements, and provide a quotation based on your requirements.

How long does the flooring installation process typically take, and what can I do to prepare my space beforehand?

The duration of the installation process depends on the type of flooring and the size of the area. A small room in carpet, with underlay and gripper, will usually take half a day. Whilst large areas of luxury vinyl tiles, with subfloor preparation, could take a few days to complete. To prepare, please remove all personal belongings, and ensure the subfloor is clean. Our team will handle the rest, including removing the old flooring if necessary at an extra charge. Please see the question below regarding the removal of furniture.  

What is the warranty on your flooring products and services, and what does it cover?

We offer a warranty on both our flooring products and installation services. The specifics vary based on the type of flooring and service availed. Typically, our warranty covers manufacturing defects for the flooring material and guarantees the quality of our installation work for up to 6 months after installation. Each manufacturer has its own product warranties which we are able to provide if required.

What underlay should I have under my new carpet?

New underlay is advised when having a new carpet fitted. We offer a recycled underlay in a range of thicknesses to suit your preference and budget.

What is the best carpet to have for areas of high traffic?

We would recommend a low or medium pile carpet. We can show you a range of carpet samples to suit these types of areas. Please feel free to drop into the showroom to talk to our experts.

Do I need to remove my furniture? 

Ideally, we need you to remove everything from your room prior to installation. However, we understand that this isn’t always possible. We are happy to remove furniture or work around large items but this may incur an extra charge.

Will the fitters clean up after they finish? 

Our fitters work to the highest standards and will ensure that the area is clean and tidy after installation.
